FIRST DAY AT YOUNG MAN AUTOMOBILE

                                                                                   date: 01- 2016, Wednesday January 20th

Wednesday, January 20th was our first day at YOUNG MAN AUTOMOBILE.

Grouping at  the principal  gate of the university, we, a sum of 7 students, went  to the company, accompanied by Mrs Anja-Huang throughout the journey. Upon we arrived at the company, we wait in the conference room for Mr Devin Lai  and Mrs Anja-Huang took time in presenting the history and operation of their business to us . They then showed us all the great varieties of buses they have manufactured, as well as various partnerships with several big companies worldwide they have maintained .

After this brilliant presentation, it was the time of the guided visit. Our two supervisors gave us a tour of the factory by showing us all the fitting operations and assembly process of different buses of YOUNG MAN AUTOMOBILE factory. We also visited the design room where we could see different engineers each busy with their various job tasks.

When we got back to the conference room, Mr. Devin presented to us a PPT that can be summarized in some way with dealing in the search of new partners in our different countries. That’s the work they expect us to do. Finally, we met the General Manager of YOUNG MAN AUTOMOBILE. During our interview, he explained to us the good base of such cooperation between his company and Zhejiang Normal University while reiterating his deep desire to work with us.

All in all this visit was very rich and beneficial for us to the extent that we finally leave academia to rub the professional world. I hope more campus activities will continue on this path.
