Scholarship Program is Established in College of Economics & Management, Seven International Students are Awarded

    

    In order to motivate students to study hard and make progress, and promote their all-around development, the College of Economics and Management establishes a “College of Economics and Management, China-Africa International Business School - International Students Talent Scholarship” and recently organizes evaluation. After discussions, the assessment panel determines that Cambodian student Zhou Xiaoying amongst seven students will receive Talent Scholarship this year.

    It is the first evaluation of “College of Economics and Management,China-Africa International Business School - International Students Talent Scholarship” instituted in December 2014 by the College Teachers' Congress. International Students Talent Scholarship has five types of reward: moral awards, academic records, Chinese proficiency test, academic research awards, cultural and sport activities. The lowest individual prize is 200 Yuan; the highest prize is 3,000 Yuan. Applicants for the scholarship should be College’s students; they can apply early May of each year for all types of award without limitation, and can receive different types of scholarships the same year.

    For this academic year 2014-2015, most students receive award for Chinese proficiency Test and academic records. Indonesian student Su Wenjiang received the first prize of academic records, Cambodian Zhou Xiaoying and Han Tianpeng received respectively the third and fourth prize, an amount of 500 Yuan for each person. Zhou Xiaoying and Hantian Peng also received HSK 6 reward, an amount of 1000 yuan each. In addition, four students get the talent scholarship, based on evaluation methods, received different amounts.
