Visiting and Surveying an Enterprise for International Students by Collegeg of Economics and Management
On March 27, 2015, 53 International students major in Business administration of College of Economics and Management and China-Africa International Business went to Yongkang city to carry out a one-day investigation in Zhejiang Baoshi Casting Co. concerning the enterprise internal management, foreign trade export situation.
In order to have more time to communicate and interact with the enterprise senior management, international students leave school at seven in the morning to the destination. After reaching enterprise, company administration manager introduced the history and present situation of the company. Then, under the leadership of each department, students visit the enterprise: production workshop, storage, administration Office Area, etc. During the visit, everyone was observing, taking notes and asking questions, having a great interest to the enterprise production and operation performance. After the visit, Bao Xin, CEO of the company conducts a discussion with students during more than an hour. At the forum, he focused on the importance of talent management in enterprise operation process. Bao Xin pointed out that Baoshi Casting Co.’s enterprise culture was "Integrity - Quality - Stability” and that first-class enterprises need first-rate talent with integrity as the most important quality. Besides, in interacting with Bao Xin, students ask their questions about the building of an enterprise culture, product design, quality control, human resource management, etc.
After the investigation, students said that they gained a lot. Each student will combine his personal investigation and submits an investigation report to the school.
