College of International Education Holds International Student Forum

On the afternoon of Sunday, January 25th, College of International Education Dean Li Guicang, Vice Dean Jin Jianzhen, International Student Program Advisor Fu Ting, and International student representatives hailing from more than ten countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, South Korea, America, and Germany, came together at the end of the semester for an open and productive conversation. Dean Li first was introduced to all the students, and then briefed them on initiatives the College of International Education is taking to attract and enroll new international students, sincerely inviting excellent students from all countries to study at Zhejiang Normal  University.

Next, the international students openly discussed any issues they had encountered in their studies and daily lives. They brought up a wide range of topics, including encouraging the school to make their website more user-friendly for international students, their housing situations, suggestions to improve the class schedule, student activities, increased interaction between the different colleges within the university, and creating a more systemized way to evaluate their personal achievements. Overall, the international student representatives expressed positive opinions about their life and studies at Zhejiang  Normal University, and put forward many constructive suggestions. The College will make every effort to respond to the students’ concerns and provide international students with the best conditions for learning possible.
