New way to Explore Jinhua

     On January 12, both the press conference of "Travel to Jinhua by High-Speed Rail, New Energy Vehicles and Self-Driving" and the presentation ceremony of "Environment-Friendly Tourism in Jinhua" were held in Jinhua. Sun Rongyan, Deputy Mayor, attended the event.

　　In 2014, by introducing and implementing both creative and innovative ideas, Jinhua fostered the tourist attractions, developed the high-end markets, and carried out the target-oriented marketing. All of these resulted in original features of Jinhua's new tourism: "creativity in pastoral field, fashion in ancient city, vegetables in restaurants and romance in guest rooms". As a result, the tourism is now shifting from quantitave to qualitative development.

　　Last year, Jinhua's tourism revenue hit RMB 62bn and registered an increase of 26.45%. This year, the Municipal Tourism Administration, grasped the opportunity brought about the high-speed rail operation, and promoted Jinhua's tourism development by actively exploring new ways of tourism, and put forward the traveling combination of "high-speed rail + new energy vehicles", which increases the tourist revenue and brings no harm to the environment. The rental service of new energy vehicles has been absorbed into the development of tourism industry, offering a special service in this particular field.

　　The New Energy Vehicles Self-Driving Service adopts the "send-change-return" mode. For the initial stage, sixty vehicles have been put into operation. In addition to the downtown Jinhua, other seven counties (cities), such as Lanxi and Dongyang, will also set up service stations.
